Is there, still, a company/shop doing XS engine rebuilds?? I have only 1,1/2 arm (difficult enough to ride!!) and I'd like to have my XS2 engine redone. Hugh cannot do it ... I am in CA. Thanks.

I finally got all the electricity on XS2 working (new alt/Boyer/wire loom) (but the left turn signals), button up everything (carbs redone, new mufflers, shocks and redone caliper)... So the great moment is here: couple of kick,then a try with the ES... And it starts... Straight to idle, up the...

What kind of fingers do you need to attach gas lines on XS2 carbs on a stock bike??? Take off half of the bike? Took me almost one hour to connect the petcocks to the carbs!! I am glad I connected the 2 carbs together when I installed them! How do you spell "poorly thought/made"?? :banghead:

Hello, Do you know if the bolts/nuts holding the front disc to it's carrier are special? Head seems very thin? What was this idea of not permanently fixing the disc/carrier on the hub? Any other bike like this? Thanks!

On my new to me XS2 if i grab the front brake while moving the bike around i can lock the disc and the wheel has a free play of about 1/2 inch back and forth. What can it be? Thanks

Has anyone installed Mike's XS2 stock exhaust? I just spent 1/2 day on the left side: the tab holding the collar is where the outside nut holding the central stand is supposed to be; it is one or the other! Me thinks I will cut off the exhaust tab, I rather have the central stand.... Rear axle...

Spend some time installing a Boyer today on my XS2....how do you install and align the magnets and bolt down the axle at the same time... Without getting mad and swearing?? Philippe

It seems that my XS2 seat does not have holes to fix the rear handle ... What is only on the xs1 & B ? Thanks Philippe
