    Consistent fouling of plug

    I fouled one plug consistently on the same cylinder and it turned out my throttle flap on that cylinder was not seating properly. I adjusted the flaps and the problem disappeared.

    a dirty ignition switch and/or high low switch can cause grief. My switches were so dirty inside that it is a wonder anything worked. Got a multi tester?

    Coding seems odd on your headlight. Usually they are yellow green and black.Black being ground. Soooo! :umm: probably your blue and white headlight wires go to the yellow and green wires from the dim switch. Green to ground. Yellow/blue is the park light..ground the other one... yellow/green...

    I made my fuel lines long enough to hook up to the petcocks with the rear of the tank lifted an inch or so. That leaves enough room to get at it. Then bolt it down.

    Switch Question

    Handlebars ground to top tree with a wire that connects under the riser nut. Switches ground through the handlebars. You need the switches to complete the circuits.

    Clean Up Before Powder Coat

    I use brass to smooth out discrepancies after grinding when I'm doing a clean up. Then finish up with rotary files and flap sanders.
