ok so i got a 79 xs650 motor just rebuilt, finish the wiring, go to kick start it and nothing. it just wont kick over. a lil started fluid and it back fires thru carbs. please help here is info and diagram i used for wiring. 79 xs650 motor points 2 into one intake mikuni 36mm carb...

going to buy the chain for my build 4in strech can i go with a 530/110 or do i have to go with a 530/120 and shrink it?

So i got 2 frames 2 motors and a ton of spare parts. (kid got into more then he could handle) all for $300. After making a bunch of parts and a hard tail kit. full motor break down and rebuild it's finally starting to come together. so here it is. a few more weeks and should be done. going...

can i use a stadered 3 ton puller to get this off

when deleting the tacho can i completely remove the tacho gear and everything under it.....?????? or do i have to leave that housing inside the cover held down by the three phillips head screws?

iv keep on reading that u can do this with a 53/64 freeze plug but the hole left behind after taking off the starter is way bigger then 53/64ths...... im missing something here and i feel like im gunna feel dumb once i get the answer.... thank guys for the help:yikes:

First off thanx to everyone on here the advise has helped a ton so far so i had to join..... trying to remove cam chain without breaking link... i removed the chain tensioner but chain is still tight any advise videos or anything thanx guys
