    TIG welder

I was back and forth for quite a while about the AC/DC thing. Like I said I thought back to how many times I ever needed to weld aluminum and I really hard time time coming up with an example. That's me though, I realize every ones needs are different. I guess I'm just a steely kind of guy.

    TIG welder

I thought that also. Then I thought back, when was the last time I needed to weld aluminum? Could not think of a need. I guess if I really needed to weld aluminum I could get a spool gun for my MIG or use my Lincoln AC stick welder for the power supply.

    Replacement carburetors for XS650?

Just an update on my carburetor conversion. It felt a little lean just off idle. If you applied throttle slowly sometimes it would die. Riding it the bike would hesitate a little on acceleration. Once you got through that little stumble it ran great. I figured it was in the pilot circuit so I...

    TIG welder

Ya this is an HF start. Don't have to do the scratch like the cheaper ones. I have a feeling this will do me for a long time. Combine this with my Miller 210 MIG and my Lincoln 225 stick welder I should be able to do all the welding I need. :)

    tc bros hardtail stretch?

Not if you are careful with your heat and not try to bend too sharp of a radius.

    tc bros hardtail stretch?

If you did the top tubes as a flattened area at the seat pan you could get more length fairly easy. You might be able to heat and bend the tubes that go into the axle plates to meet the flattened out area of the seat pan area. That way you would not have to cut anything loose and if you were...

    Sticking Throttle Body slides

On the throttle plate screws I carefully ground the back side of the screws off with a Dremel Tool. Mine were slightly peened on the back side, I guess they did that to lock them in place. I ordered new screws from Mike's. Replaced the throttle shaft seals when I was able to get the screws out...

    Sticking Throttle Body slides

If you have a small butane torch like you can get from Harbor Freight for $10.00 you can apply heat directly to the metal close to the screws. It's amazing what a little heat does for getting things apart.
