How long did you let it sit after you bought it? And did you have the battery on a float charger? Mine did the same thing turns out the battery was bad and ran good on the test drive because the PO had charged it the night before.

Mine is a little similar tonight. 4 steps to the mini fridge 4 steps to the laptop to search the tech forum and 4 steps back to the bike. :cheers:

Since purchasing my XS and finding this forum I have not been able to get shit done at work. Anyone else having this problem. :D

+1 on weekendrider's post. I replaced mine last week and it took maybe thirty minutes. Just have patience and don't get in a rush and just as mentioned above make sure every thing is even when putting it back together. Measure and remeasure to make sure.

Older thread but I'm in the ATL and currently building my XS. I'm on the westside! Douglasville to be exact.

Not a mechanic but not my first rodeo on doing a crank kit. Only thing that will be fun is setting the timing. Already have the motor pulled and disassembled all you need is a Haynes manual and lots of patience. :thumbsup: And yes I have great Dodge forum!!:D
