    Using motocross rims.. safe?

I landed front wheel first on a 45ft triple once, broke my collar bone but didn't do shit to the wheel. IMHO it would be fine.

Help!! Starts great, idles great but bogs down when any throttle is given....

How long did you let it sit after you bought it? And did you have the battery on a float charger? Mine did the same thing turns out the battery was bad and ran good on the test drive because the PO had charged it the night before.

    This forum is addictive.

Mine is a little similar tonight. 4 steps to the mini fridge 4 steps to the laptop to search the tech forum and 4 steps back to the bike.

    Tools needed for chain replacement

+1 on weekendrider's post. I replaced mine last week and it took maybe thirty minutes. Just have patience and don't get in a rush and just as mentioned above make sure every thing is even when putting it back together. Measure and remeasure to make sure.

    How screwed am I?

Not a mechanic but not my first rodeo on doing a crank kit. Only thing that will be fun is setting the timing. Already have the motor pulled and disassembled all you need is a Haynes manual and lots of patience. And yes I have great Dodge forum!!:D

    How screwed am I?

I was planning on changing it again after about 100 miles. Do you think that would be to long to wait or would you change it sooner. I have to put the bike on the back burner for a week or so because I have to rebuild the bottom end of my Dodge Dakota that decided to spin a rod bearing. To not...
