Yep...I agree, most abrasive discs/pads/bristles do remove base metal with gasket material. Even slightly uneven gasket surfaces are very difficult to seal and may never seal properly. :banghead: Be careful and do Take your Time!...with all of it. :bike:

UPDATE: Guys/Gals, this Bike is scheduled to go to auction 1st week of April. I have contacted the owner for all the info you requested. If he thinks it's worth the time He'll hook us up with the info... as a Favor to me and our XS650 Community. Waiting for reply from him...

You can't go wrong with Jemco, Especially if your racing. Jon's been building pipes since the hay day of these bikes ( before that really) but The Scott pipes look nice too. So if it's a street ride you could go either way. Jemco is the "go to" racers choice. Just my view point. If you want some...
