Thanks guys. I really didn't mean to play the spoiler here. I still technically own the bike and it is in my posession, but it has been sold to a buyer in Australia. He is making shipping arrangements.

I'm not sure I'm following you?? It is an internal weld on from Lead Sled. In the pictures it is sitting on a plastic puck to stand the bike up for the pictures.

Ok....I'm going to throw mine up for nomination. This is my first complete build and first XS650. I started with a non-running $400 1978 XS650 and literally brought her back from the dead. Below is a couple pics and a link to my build thread. Thanks to all that helped me along the way!!
