The case is beveled so you don't drag the case in the dirt. It's not a total loss system, there is no battery. It's a CDI system just like on a dirt bike, a PVL brand Ignition.
Also there is no flywheel, no kick starter or kick starter shaft, gear or spring.

It's a Champion copy, the chain is fairly close to the shock but the photo does make it look far away though!
I'll have to take a look at Mules, are his a Champion copy also?

You did a Great job and congratulations on building everything on your own. obviously you are a very good welder and I am not but I do like that front end. Does anyone make one similar to that or do you sell them? Thanks for your reply and your bike looks Great!
