    Bad manual petcock?

    Anyone come across a bad manual petcock (style as shown in pic)? Squeaks when turned and stiffer than same petcock on other side. Only 2 years old and used regularly (turned off when bike is off). Thanks in advance

    Box: 50 shipped Pickup: 20 shipped Cant say tci box is "known good," explaining why price is so low....... Had a mid range misfire that has since been cured with carb work, new battery and pamco (coil, wires, plugs too). Too many changes to say box was or was not at fault.

    Recently purchased ultimate pamco with e advance(mikes part 14-0913) to replace stock tci ignition. Wired as per instructions but no spark. Specifically, from e advance its red to switched power, green directly to coil and black to good ground. Engine cranks but no spark. Are coil terminals...

    Tci fire mark

    Please advise where fire mark is on this 1980 plate. Manuals show an exact firing mark, but this plate shows a range. Is it the left or right mark of range. Thanks

    Bad tci diode? Please take a look

    Slight mid range hesitation got me looking into my tci board. Thing looks great except for a zd4 diode just above black/white wire. Do the pics show evidence that it is bad? Can i test somehow? Thanks in advance

    Whats a good trick for sliding dust boots upwards with front end all assembled. Tried prying with flathead and twist/pull with wrench. No dice.

    Brembo conversion rotor to fork clearance

    Mocking up brembo on 35mm forks with stock rotor. Rotor seem awfully close to inside of fork.... just a couple of mm. Is that normal? Anyone have a measurement to share? Thanks in advance.

    measure rpm with voltmeter

    Trying to measure acurate 1200 rpm idle with no tach.... Read a little bout measuring rpm with voltmeter in hertz/ frequency mode. I understand that reading will show per second and times 60 will get you the rpm, but will that be double actual rpm with our wasted spark? And can I just...

    condensation on bike

    Been having alot of cool nights and hot days lately. Opening the garage for the day, letting in warm air, is wrecking havoc on engine. Bike will sweat all day until it reaches ambient temp. Is there anyway to prevent this? Would a good cover help? I feel as if all the hours polishing covers...
