Has anyone done this? I'm concerned that the lower voltage "flickering" at idle may be a problem for LEDS. I've read online that they will work down to 2vdc. Anyone know for sure?

Is it necessary to use a course and fine compound? I just did my first valve with the standard permatex stuff. Got a matte finish on the valve and seat. Also did the dykem check but with a sharpie, and that look good too. Will a courser finish be more suceptible to pitting later on?

Aside from fleabay, does anyone know where one of the can be had? I bought one from a chinese dirtbike, but after lacing it up it's got a pretty good hop in it near the weld. Thanks
