I am still using a battery. I just checked and the blinkers and license plate light are working while its running. The wire I was talking about is a yellow wire that comes from the old alternator but does not go to the wire harness clip (it plugs into another yellow wire)... still no...
The bike runs and is charging just fine. No headlights, starter does not respond. Any ideas what I did or need to do to get everything back on? The fuses are all OK. :banghead:

I removed the harnesses just like the directions say. The harness that goes down to the rotor/stator has a plug in that looks like a ground. Should that be hooked up? My bike is an 83 with a Pamco already installed.
I did the electrical test and found I have a bad solid state regulator. So my choice is to spend $110 on a mikes xs regulator, $270 PMA, or this $35 regulator on ebay...
