Thank you all for the advice! Read the mikuni VM manual... Great info!! I have not synced my carbs yet but from what I read it sounds like the air/fuel mix is too lean... Was hoping to take the bike out this weekend but i guess I will just wait and contact 650central to see what he suggests on...

Thank you very much my friend! I set the timing marks as per Hugh's instructions and will attempt the timing as per pampcopetes instructions... Quick question... Should the timing be set to land steady on TDC at idle??:confused:

Just got myself a pamco, PMA from Hugh's and new VM34's from 650 central... Do you have any advice on getting the tuning right?
