    Starting a thread on rebuilding my 650. this is head chamber polishing. Removing the factory ridges in the chamber as per Yamaha manual suggestion, Will have to Cc the head to make the same after valve job.porting the inlet/ex tracts soon. "No flow Jones"

    a local upholsterer wanted $75.00 to install my cover. I just went for it.If it is warm it will stretch and then shrink up somewhat and get tighter. just cut out the area where I was going to fit my gel pad with a dremel and a sanding disk. Going to a thicker foam or different type may be trickier

    My first bike was a hard tail maroon/silver z50 (1968) picked it up and mom put it in the trunk of our 1968 camaro convertible 327/275hp 4spd folded the handle bars and shoved her in. Rode it till I was 17 . Best toy for a kid Billy

    To me the bike ran best when the cables were synched.I really don't worry too much about the idle screws just back em off and move in equally till 1200 rpm,actually mine varies but idles @1500 usually Billy

    here is a quick and easy method .take two business cards and clip them under the throttle screws.loosen the jam nuts on the cable adjusters. stand up or sit on the seat and look down,as you open the throttle the cards will move adjust until they move equally and your cables are set.Use the...
