    Another right side backfire

How about checking the valve lash adjustment. If the bike was run hard and not maintained the intake valves may be tight. Borrow the right tools and spend a little time reading or watch a YouTube video and adjust em!

    MikesXS Electronic Ignition Kit

And then there’s that advance rod from mikes. Sometimes the threaded end just snaps off all by its self. Mine left me stranded at the corner of pot farm rd and crack lab ave. Find a stock one if you can!

    unusual slipping clutch?

    PMA with BATTERY and CAPACITORS

The electric starter requires a battery with enough juice to supply it. The capacitor temporarily stores enough power to get your ignition working (2 or 3 kicks of the kick starter I think generates enough power) Now that you have the permanent magnet charging system you are making lots of...

    10 cent charging diagnosis please...

No don't feel bad, I've learned a lot here. I'm even considering winding up my own rotor and gluing a magnet to it. I have the same feelings about keeping my fleet of antiques rolling. Just keep one modern bike around that isn't so needy. It's easier to stay sane. I appreciate your posts
