Ha ha ha. Smoke in wires... Classic! Unfortunately I will need that smoke in a jar cause it is definitely not oil, I started it up again and saw ORANGE LIGHT!! Took it off and these (pictured) wires were warm. Any way to replace them without replacing the whole stator?

Not sure that it is the rotor, the smoke just seems to be bellowing out through the stator around the rotor. I don't see any oil on my headers or case.

I reckon that filling the bars with shot are grout would help a lot but seems like it would make them aweful heavy, guess if you are not trying to lighten the bike it wouldnt matter though. Rubber seams like a good trade off. The bars themselves were still pretty bad, didn't get better until...
