    Hello from Kansas!

Greetings fellow XS 650ers. I'm a 20y/o TIG Welder from Central Kansas, lived here all my life. I caught the motorcycle bug when I was in early high school. Scratched up enough money by the end of senior year to buy and build a CB 750. It wasn't anything special, lots of cobbled togetherness but...

What Bike is this Fairing off

Does anyone have any clue as to what the fairing on this XS 850 is from. http://www.markmeisner.com/motoren/yamaha-xs850/ It might be the Airtech F1FU with a headlight fitted but I am not convinced. The obvious thing would be to track down the man who built it and ask him but I suspect...

A couple months ago, one of our members asked me to make him a metal steering damper knob for his early XS. Quote: "Functional and similar to the original, but with a polished metal chrome look." Searched the web and found a likely candidate, 3-1/8" diameter cast aluminum knobs with 9...

Harley soft tail 21" front wheel..

I have the chance to buy a 21" front rim from an 01 soft tail. My question is will it work. Can I buy a new axle for it? Or could I just keep my hub and re lace it. He wants 100$ obo. Figured I could get it for 75$. Is there a cheaper way to run a 21" or should I jump on this? Thanks.
