    I have this damn fool idea of swapping the engine from my '78 XS650 ... into the frame of a 2015 RE Continental GT. The GT handles like the business, but the engine is... well... "gutless" would be generous. It mounts up similar to the XS650 engine, so I feel like besides flipping the rear...

    Can someone please list what year frames are interchangeable with what year motors?

    Hello, I am considering buying a '75 with no motor. Can someone please advise me as to what year motors will drop in without modifying the frame, reworking the wiring is not a concern to me? From what I've read they all will, even the Specials. But, I would like some verification please...

    Will any year xs650 engine fit in any year xs650 frame(more specifically a 1971 xs frame), or do some years have restrictions, and what are they?
