My custom made cover for my OEM gas cap, no harm done to the original. I can make custom ones for you to a point. Still don't have much for materials.

I've read that the fuel fill cap on earlier bikes was aluminum with the Yamaha emblem on it. Will this cap fit the tank on my '77 to replace my chrome one? Will the key mechanism interchange? Does anyone have a photo of the early one, or have an extra cap to sell? Thanks
