Ol' Trigger has been pestering me for new paint. Her side covers have scores of chips. About four score and twenty. Is there any good way of getting paint off of plastic side covers, or does it mean hours of hand sanding?

I fab'ed up this little flyscreen out of some 1/8" aluminum and had it powdercoated. The coating turned out pretty well but has a little orange peel compared to the tank and side covers. Can powder be wet sanded and buffed as you would normal paint to remove orange peel? Anybody done this...
