If someone gave you these 650 parts, which would you use?

I've recently came into a few 650 engines and a frame, along with enough other parts to justify (for me, anyway) puting something together. So I'm looking for comments as to whether or not any of these engines would be a preferred pick to you wise 650 gurus out there. Engines: 4M4-007845...

    What an idiot!

I've been in the process of reassembling my motor and finally peened the cam chain back in place when I figured I'd look in the Haynes to see if I missed anything. Then I read the part where it says to make sure the valve springs are in the correct orientation before you put the valves back in...

Found this in a barn yesterday

Like the title says I really did find this 77' D Standard in an actual barn yesterday. Cows, cowshit, 36 Chevy coupe and this. We got it to run enough to determine that the motor is probably ok internally, carbs are filthy of course, and all systems need attention. I believe those are the...

In the last 2 months have been working on it. Most of the bike has original parts including the grips, chain, master...

How do you remove tank badges on TX650

Anyone know how to remove the tank badges on a 1973 TX650 without damaging the tank or the badges? I'd like to have the tank repainted with new decals but will need to remove the badges to do so. Prefer not to dent the tank.

    1979 "Keep It Simple" build

After months of working on other projects and being distracted by lots of things that life has thrown at me, it is finally time to begin my build! My basic plan of attack is to keep it as simple as possible while drawing a lot of my inspiration from trackers and some cafe styling. I plan to...
