sluggish

I've got 77 xs650 and it recently started acting sluggish and misfiring randomly. It only occurs during takeoff in first and second gear. After I get to third and up it's fine. I'm still new to this and don't really have a clue where to start. I've done some searching but couldn't manage to find...
