    Fuel issue

Hi everyone, I just bought a '77 XS650 in the fall. I'm not getting fuel to one of the plugs and can't seem to figure out why. I've cleaned the carb and changed the fuel lines. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm new to working on bikes and don't have much knowledge.

    79 xs650s starting issues

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, and honestly to motorcycle maintenance in general. I recently bought a 79 xs650s, and I couldn't be happier except that it won't start currently. I know it started kind of recently and the owner before me said it had a slight oil leak. I checked the spark plugs...

    Help reading plugs...

So...these plugs have very little time on them...no riding, just start/idle for no more than 5 minutes at a time. The bike starts well with full choke...after about 20 seconds, go to half choke...after about 20 seconds...no choke...couple throttle pulls, then she'll sit there on idle fine...

No spark after ignition coil replacement

Greetings, gentlemen! This site has proven incredibly useful thus far, but at this point I feel I must reach out for help. I bought an '83 heritage special. She was running good (albeit just a tad rich) but then a few weeks later, she started sputtering and generally sounded not very happy...

    Removing an over-torqued spark plug?

    NGK Iridium Spark Plugs

Just wondering if any of you have tried the NGK Iridiun Spark Plugs? I put a set in mine this week and I got to say I am pleased with them so far. Bike sounds crisper and they claim there is a 2 HP gain(which I believe may be streching the truth a bit). Just curious if anyone else has a...
