I just pulled this off the '78. There's no threading for a mirror and no wiring for the brake light. I'll be looking for stock chrome parts as in chain guard and fenders or a decent fuel tank and metal tins......Standard or Special. I've also got a nice Special tach with high beam and neutral...

Title says it all. I need a set of strait and solid 76 & 80 side covers. I don't care about emblems or paint condition as both sets will be painted. I have either tons of parts to trade or will paypal. Please post pics and price (shipped to 78745). Thanks

Could you just submerge your entire tank in a tub full of water and cleaning soda, connect a wire to the tank for the charger ground, drop the "electrode" in the tub and get the inside and outside cleaned?
