    Hold that crank!

Installing a new rotor last week, couldn't hold the crank to tighten the nut to spec by putting it in gear and stepping down hard on the rear brake. I had this old oil filter wrench that fit the rotor circumference perfectly - it's about 3 1/2 inch diameter or a bit more when opened up and...

    MC Brake Hone XS650B

The smallest brake cylinder hone available at all the auto places in my neighborhood is 11/16". Will this work on an OEM MC on a XS650B? When I measure the cylinder bore it looks close to 1/2"to me.

    Stripped carb jet removal

Last Sunday I was preparing a set of BS34's for cleaning, disassembling them, removing the jets, etc., when I stripped the air pilot jet. Any thoughts on this welder?

I'd really like to have a Miller Autoset 140. I just can't justify the $700+ price tag. I, "never say never", probably will have very little use for a welder after my tracker is done. Anyone have any good/bad comments on this Eastwood? At around $320 shipped it is much easier to swallow...
