I got a set of spoked yamaha DT400 wheels (21" front, 18" rear) dirt cheap that I plan on using on my XS, but was wondering if it's possible to either convert to disc brakes or would it be easier to swap out the centre hubs with disc versions?

Just put new stock size sprockets on 83 xs650 and put vx DID 530 104 chain together and go to put on rear wheel and its way too long WTF? Isn't this the stock size chain? Looks like 3 to 4 links too long? Anyone know why?:wtf:
