I have to buy a die to chase the threads for my cam. You can see from my previous post that they got damaged from a broken advance Assembly. It would be easier to clean the threads than replace the cam. It looks to be 20mm. I'm not sure of the thread size. Is it 20x20x1.5 or 20x20x1 etc ? I'm going to buy a thread gauge if no one knows and measure the advance assembly nut . Next have to find a die that size.
I also have a rowel pin on order for the cam. I'm getting closer . Once I fix the previous owners mistakes I'll be closer to ignition.
Regards and thanks in advance,

I've had a metric thread file for years but just started using it recently. The thing is amazing and does a wonderful job.

Wow. Thanks. I'm thinking I need a die. I'll look for one.

Restoration update . Today I

Changed oil
Adjusted valves
Adjusted spark plug gap
Cleaned bike and polished chrome

I'll attach a photo
Need paint. , tires, seat and a running engine. It's rougher than it looks in the photo.
You guys are great!!!
