1972 Suzuki TS185 for AHRMA cross country

My son & I are thinking of starting AHRMA racing in the cross country events. Have an opportunity to buy a 72 Suzuki TS185 for that purpose. Have any of you guys had any experience with that bike? Do you think it would work well in the 200cc or less catagory? thanks for all opinions, Joe

If you can find a good one, it will be fine for CC, just put good shocks on it. Expensive, but worth the money. Don't expect to beat any Pentons to the first turn though...

I had one way back when. Don't expect to beat anything into the 1st turn. They hold up well, tho.
