1972 XS2 front brake switch

Anyone have a picture the can send me of how the front brake switch hooks up to the master cylinder / brake lever on a 1972 XS2?

Also am I correct in thinking that the switch inside the decompression lever is the starter motor switch?

my '84's front brake switch is a little plastic bodied thing that just snaps into the hole in the lever, dunno about the '72 though.
Yes, that's how the decompression lever works. Although they weren't really necessary they do look neat even if their main claim to fame is being the cause of all later models having a leftside 4 x M8 stud exhaust valve cover.
