Hello fellow motorcycle lovers. My name is Justin and I am new to the website, but I've been working on a 1973 TX650 that I purchased in January. I need some help figuring out a color scheme for the gas tank. I took a picture (which was kind of blurry because of the lighting) and put it into Photoshop to mockup some ideas.

I dropped a little much on the seat from DCC. And I got a few small Yamaha circle emblems on eBay.

There are limitless color combinations for the different options that I came up with, so I would love to get some thoughts/comments/ideas from the community.

Here is option 1. I'll be posting more options as I finish them

I like the stock colors on the early XS / TX . Or the stock colors Honda was using back then. There were some good two tone paint schemes right out of the factory. Or, some of the new ( recycled from the '60s and '70s ) candy paint that Harley brought out last year . Root beer and ivory looks great on a vintage bike. Got better paint options now than we ever had before.
