I'm selling this bike for a close friend of mine that has cancer and is needing to get his affairs in order. For specific info or detailed pics PM me and I will get you whatever you need. There have been a few good write ups in Motorcycle Classics Magazine on this very bike as it was owned by one of the editors a few years ago. Google "Backus TX650" and you will see what I mean. Bike starts, runs, and rides just fine. The starter turns over under protest when the bike is cold but fires it fine when warm. Kicks over manually and starts fine when cold though. Bike will be sold to someone who wants a nice original bike, meaning if you want to build a chopper or street tracker that's great, but this isn't the bike to do it with. Will deliver within 500 miles of Topeka Kansas for fuel money. He wants $3500. for the bike, negotiable.
