Just bought a nice 73 tx650 but it has a king/queen seat. Anyone know exactly what the stock seat looks like (exterior & pan)? A few pics would be awesome and greatly appreciated!

I'll double check but I thought they just sold the seat covers? I'm trying hard for an original stock seat and pan but not sure exactly what it looks like. Thanks for the direction.

Google Images has an abundance of pictures of stock TX650's.
Once you find what yo are looking for, head to eBay and look up the seat in order to get nice pictures of both the top, side and bottom.

Caution on Fleabay. Sellers have been known to not know what they advertise as XS650 parts and especially between models.
found 73TX 650, Fleabay seat and pan.
73TX650 seat is a one year model seat. Has a different profile to the earlier XS1,1B,2, and the pan differed as well. 74 and later Standard seats are different again.

Hi Guys
I have a 1972 XS2 that was a traffic police bike used by the Cape Town traffic department. They had a single seat fitted with an added bracket behind the seat to mount a radio set.
I would really want to return the bike to standard with the correct seat including the chrome trim.
Any ideas?
