No Trades or Parts For Sale
Located in Mt. View, Arkansas.
Fly and Ride from Little Rock or Memphis, TN airports.
Happy to assist with pick up or drop off, as I am able.
Motivated to sell. Talk to me.
The Story:
This XS comes from a stable of well maintained, loved and cared for motorcycles.
Bike underwent a thorough refurbishment by a previous owner at 11k or about 4-5 years ago.
Work included taking bike down to bare frame and replacing any worn or outdated parts. I have receipts for all work done by the previous owner, which total over $1800.00, as well as receipts for parts since I have owned the bike.
Systems that were rebuilt included carbs, gauges, wiring loom, exhaust system and ignition just to name a few.
Since I've had the bike I've gone to stock chrome fenders, **dual sport tires, period correct tank badges and added a NOS sealed headlight bulb, factory seat trim and an engine crash bar with highway pegs. **Stone Co. Arkansas basically requires one to have dual sport tires for all the gravel and dirt road travel needed to properly explore and enjoy the area.
Proper maintenance has been the protocol and included oil changes and filter cleaning every 1000 miles, valve adjustments and recent brake fluid service.
New sprockets and chain were installed in the past year.
Bike comes with an extra king/queen seat, handle bars and luggage rack, with turn signals. Extra fenders (painted black) and a small cache of other parts and workshop manuals.
BAD:
Tank has one small dent covered by the "Number 7" decal. Paint on the tank is the only let down visually on the bike.
Electric Starter works fine but does have a short run over when used. Common issue on these bikes that I've never bothered to repair as it kick starts easily.
Note pic of the bike as it looked when I purchased in 2014 with black fenders and old school tank badges (Still have both).
