1981 flat seat without modifications

I have a 1981 XS650H and as you all know that seat is very bulky. I heard there was a company that used to make a flat seat that just clipped in without having to modify the frame. Wondering if anyone knows where I could find one? Thank you.

the only one I am aware of to utilize stock mounts is from Texavina. They are made and shipped from Vietnam but have a good reputation. I have one on my '75 and am happy with it. They sell on ebay, but here is their website too. https://texavina.com/xs650-special-78-82/

Texavina told me their "low profile" seats are about 3-1/2" tall. However, they will custom make a seat any height you want, within reason I suppose, for the same money.

Yes, I emailed them directly and asked about modifying a seat cover. They were very accommodating in my request and sent me pictures of it before it shipped. I was leery about buying from Vietnam, but my experience with them was exceptional.
