1981 Frame and Swing Arm

Hello Group. Does anyone know what the tab on the frame above the Swing Arm shaft is for? Also, what about the screw on top of the swing arm? Any help would be appreciated. Robert

The screw on top of the swingarm is the front chain guard mount. Not 100% sure about the other one but it might be for the little plastic box that stored the security chain.

Tim, I'm just in mock up stage with a sandblasted frame and finishing the detab process on a cafe build. I have a new shaft. Thank you for eye.
