1981 Kawasaki CSR 650 S. Delaware

I've got a 1981 CSR 650. I want to sell it or trade for a XS engine.
I put KZ650 by accident in the title and can't change it.
It's been in a shed for about 10+ years. The engine turns free, but I have not tried to start it. It's pretty complete, but the battery box, air box and some electric pieces are missing. I am positive it will start with a little tinkering.
The guy who owned it has some mental issues, so I don't have a title or key.
I am working on getting a replacement title from the son-in-law, but I am selling it without one for now. It would make a good project or get a pretty penny for parts.
The engines are selling for a good bit.
I would like to get $500.00 for it or a rebuildable XS engine.
I can help deliver it, not too far though.

Here is one done up . Come on do it they are fast. This one was a CRS too. I built this around gas tank because it was 23" long. What a way to start.

Please read, I forgot. This a 4 cylinder. I posted KZ650, which is a twin, but I can't change the title. Again, this a 650 4 cylinder engine.

They were inline 4's. They were the better looking bike, duck tail, no buckhorn bars or stepped seat. more sport.

Have you tried listing it on KZRider.com or KZ650.info? You might find some XS stuff or sell if for cash and come back and do some shoppin'. They're good folk there.

I've had luck selling KZ parts there.

But i think that price is a bit hight for a non runner with no title. You might get that much if you take the time to part it out.

Or build it up like mine.
