35mm forks into 76

OK, I have read many threads.
Because of the different size tubes, everthing gets switched out including rotor and caliper. And the gauge cluster needs an adapter of some sort if 76 gauges are run.
Here is the question, has anybody made or seen what an adapter would look like? Is the only impact of an adaper is the gauge cluster height is increased by the thickness of the adapter?
I think I have a set of 35mm forks, would need upper and lower trees, rotor and caliper, and it would be the time to swap out head bearings. Anything else?
Dont know if I will do this but if I do, I would like to know off all variables, thanks.
 
While viewing pics of a 77, it appears front fenders are also different as a 77 is without front and rear fender stays. Likely will pass on this mod.
