Need to put some new pads on the 73, nearly all stock, I'm not racing it. Anyone have some input on how various pads work/feel?

Here's what I've found so far

C'mon man NO ONE has replaced front pads? The pads on the 73 are not doing the job, takes a serious 5 finger vice grip squeeze to bring r down at a decent rate.

Put in a set of vesrah pads. I had to replace fork seals so R&R'd the caliper while I had everything apart. Kind of annoying; the wheel and fender have to come off to get the caliper out. I had done the MC earlier so the only piece left undone is the brake line. She's old boys, works fine, flows fine but well you know. So mikes is only offering chinese rubber lines, Galfer wants $90 Some other flea bayer is at $50 for two lines (retains the junction block) The 73 has a short steel line from the caliper with a threaded fitting to the hose section.

Maybe these folks could make you something that is cost effective and maybe a choice of colors?
