Any one know where to find paint that matches the original metallic flake blue for the '73 TX650?

The correct Yamaha code for "Metallic Flake Blue" is F5.
However Yamaha do not give out the secret formula for F5.

I love that color,was wondering myself,my 77 is blue bt not metallic,may repaint them if i find someone that can match that color

Glamour metallics stratto blue looks right.
Pick the base coat to match the metal flake size, spray the blue till you like the shade, clear coat. That's how it was done at the factory...
Trust me the stock blue varied in tone and darkness within the 73 run, my guess is each painter sprayed complete color sets so they matched.
I have an ancient quart of the old laquer based HOK Kandy Blue (painted a Honda with it in about 1975!) and it works the bomb for touch ups on my stock 73 paint.
