73 TX650 exhaust port depth

Can anyone tell me if the exhaust port depth is different on a 73 Tx650 or all 650's for that matter? I was fitting my headers tonight and there was about 1/4 inch gap on the left port while the right was almost snug to the head. Thought i was losing it so i measured them. Left is around 11/16 and right is around 7/8"

Well took me all of an hour to figure out the mystery. P.O left the header gasket in on the right side. It was jammed in there pretty good. Kinda overlooked that one .Lol
