750cc Mikunis?

Hey guys. Just curious what size Mikunis are you running on your 750 conversions?

Just wondering what everyone is doing and opinions.

I'm just guessing the 36's would be a good choice.

EX500 carbs are the latest thing...they are CVK34's Keihins. They've been on 750's and I've heard good things about them.

Mikuni's never really worked out for me...top end was great, bottom end grunt just wasn't there. Again, this is my opinion.

As for Mikuni's not sure if you need to go vm36's...

VM36s. Then spent a lot of time tweaking them...

I have had both VM36 and GPZ/EX500 carbs on a 750cc XS. I have found the GPZ carbs overall superior and would go with GPZ carbs again over VM carbs.
I have read that for a road going 750, VM34’s are better than VM36’s.
