'76 TRIPLE TREES

Can someone tell me if the '76 triples were a one year only part? The gauge mounts on my '75 top tree are different than the '76 with the triangular key console. Being that '76 is the last year of the 34mm forks this leads me to believe they are a one year only part.

I really like the looks of the '76 gauge console over the bulky '75 version, and have the gauge parts to convert over but I don't know if I just have to swap a '76 top tree to make it work. Are there other alignment issues that i am not aware of for such a swap?

yea the 76 Triple crown is a one year only 34mm crown............Just swapping over the crown from 76 to the 74/75 34mm triple shouldn't make for any problems.

That 76 crown will also take the 77-79 standard gauge set and bracket as well as the 76. They are interchangeable.....
