77 xs650 Dual Disc upgrade

7mm spacer? You could use an old junk stock disc for that, couldn't you.
Yeah but found an ebayer that sells me aluminum cutoffs near the right size so I just turn them to make the exact size I need, then drill the bolt holes, makes a fun shop project. You can see one of the spacer blanks on the scale with the FZ rotor.

Some adaptor drawings to use blue spot calipers on XS fork legs I haven't tried this yet.
Not sure where they came from now.

Those OEM discs are even heavier than I remembered, 2.77 kg each!! That means that I must have dropped at least 5 kg or 11 lbs just from going from the OEM dual disc setup to a single 320 mm ISR disc and a Brembo 4 piston caliper. The ISR disc is bespoke, with a 23 mm offset, so no spacer is required. Then I dropped at least another 1.5 kg/ 3 lbs from the alloy fender, tacho delete, RH axle spacer, TI fasteners for disc/ caliper/ adapter plate/axle pinch, and alloy fender mounting bolts. That should be like removing a small anvil from the front wheel :) Definitely excited to see how the fork will work with that much un-sprung weight gone!
