Wanted - 78 Special seat/helmet Lock

The seat/helmet lock that was on my bike came without a key. Does anyone have a lock with a key or two laying around that they want to get rid of for cheap?

no shit?!?! i have a 79' redheaded wife, remodeled in 08' w/ a new top end

btw i'll look for the keys but i'm pretty sure i still have the helmet lock

Do you know what key number you need? The number should be on the lock. I have a lock I won't need but I do need it's key. Keys are on E-bay. I found the number I need, but haven't bought one.

Mudd: Good one! My '77 model has a lot of horsepower and runs good wide open when i yank the throttle.

Dave: I cannot find my old lock anywhere. I'll continue to look. I thought about having it re-keyed to match the ignition but the ignition key will not even go in to the key hole.
