79 bs38's. Two idle adjust screws AND a sync?

Hey all. I just noticed that on my carbs there is a spot for a second idle throttle stop screw but no screw. I've been combing through pics to see if it should be there but can't seem to make it out, does anyone know? Here's a pic of where I'm talking about. Thanks!

No, it shouldn't be there. The same casting was used for right and left carbs so the tab would be there, just no screw installed when it was used as a right carb. The linkage and sync screw controls and sets the idle for the right carb.

Got it. Thanks . I do notice a slight lag though from one carb to the next re: throttle openning. I thought maybe a stop screw there would help that but I guess just the sync will . Thanks again man
