Wanted - 79 tach/speedo

I'm starting to accumulate a collection of tach's and speedo's that don't work right. Faces vibrate, needles jump around, etc. So all I want is to get is a set of gauges that work well, and won't break the bank.

Anybody got a set, in a parts box, left over from their chopper/bobber/cafe/tracker build they don't need anymore?

1979 XS650 2F. With an 81 motor I think.

Some info on gauges and there is a link to a solution of a problem found to cause a jumping needle.....Bottom of post #5......Good rubber dampers are also important for the gauges well being........

My speedo tops off at 120mph. The one you have tops off at 85. Are they both 1979?

Will my 120mph speedo drive work properly with the 85mph speedo?

I think all of the speedo drives on the left side of wheel from 77 to 83 are the same. You may what to check
