For Sale - '79 XS650F standard on CL

Advertised as a '78, probably manufactured late '78. Looks like a '79 to me, last year for the standards(yes??). Not mine.

I dunno. Probably nice enough, but pricey?

Looks like it’s probably a nice bike, but once again, terrible photos. It’s almost like these guys don’t want to sell their bikes.

79F is such a rare model that to find one so original is worth the extra.
79's have wonderful carburetors and a very trustworthy electrical system for an XS.
That said If I did have another I'd pack the seat away first thing and start changing it up a bit with a 75ish seat, sportier handlebars, front brake mods,
etc..
So, as rare as it is from a collector's point of view, a 79F is maybe the best starting point for a "cafe" or "restomod" project as well.
