I made a mock up snail cam and gave it a rough polish to see how it would look. I'm not fussed on the look, but snail cams are accurate for aligning the rear wheel with the front. Usually used on race bikes due to accuracy and ease of adjustment. You'll notice the divots are at different intervals, close together at the apex and further apart at the end of the cam, but each duvet gives 5mm of adjustment.
