I have been postponing getting or making some mild rearsets for my 77D for ages, as all aftermarket sets are rigidly mounted. But now it seems I have found a solution to rubber mounting rearset plates/brackets.
First generation Ducati Monster rubber bushes for muffler mount seem to be perfect, these are part no. 76410011A, and cost a bit over 2 $ each. You will need 2 per stud, so 8 pcs total.
These bushes are "hat shaped" with a 12 mm hole, 30 mm flange diameter, 22 mm diameter, around 3.5 mm thick flange, and 8.5 mm overall length. This means they are a perfect fit for 10 mm aluminium plate, with 22 mm holes. In addition, you will need some alloy spacers, as the 12 mm part of the footpeg studs are 22 mm long. Or pack with washers, etc.
I am pretty sure these will work better than the oem rubber bush setup, as the have flanges, and also more "meat" in the up/down/fore/aft plane. At least if the pegs are not located too far from the studs, I.e too much leverage.
