Anybody out there doing vintage racing with their XS?
I've been racing an R6 for years now, but at age 50, I'm thinking the time has come to take my vintage butt out of the fast kids class, and into vintage racing. I was looking at the rule book for AHMRA and thought the XS (taken out to 750) would be a good fit in the "Sportsman 750" class. I think you could bump up a class as well, to "Vintage Superbike". WERA and Motoseries also run vintage road races. Between the 3 organizations, thats a lot of tracks and dates to choose from. Add in regular track days and it would be possible to spend all my money!
If you have gone down this path, or researched it, what have you figured out?
