Anyone used this as a soda blaster before?

You're in Florida, high humidity.
That's a vacuum-draw blaster, easily clogged.
Also, note the kink in the hose in the picture, needs to be straight.
Keep your media dry.
Don't believe the CFM requirements listing, these things will strain compressors.

Otherwise, for light duty, it's ok...

Look up videos on youtube. Kinda messy but lots of diy soda blasters.

Simpler, cheaper and I can buy Baking Soda from the Dollar store for $.50 a box.
 
That's the little hand held blaster I use. It works fine for soda, sand too. If you have a farm and feed store near by, you can get 50lb. bags of agricultural soda for like $10 to $15.

This is a total waste system but you can reclaim some of it if you do your blasting in one of those big plastic storage tubs with the lid half on. Soda breaks down fast though so isn't good for too many uses.
